TaxAct and NASCAR fans both win big with yearlong promo.
TaxAct, despite being a prominent sponsor of one of NASCAR’s biggest celebrities, Danica Patrick, was still searching for increased name recognition from the sport’s fan base. So TaxAct and Stewart-Haas Racing turned to Exit10 for an activation idea that leveraged Danica’s celebrity to engage fans with TaxAct’s brand.
The result: Race To Your Refund, an online sweepstakes where fans could register to win prizes by predicting how Danica would qualify and finish each race of the season. Not only did the platform drive users to TaxAct, an online-only business, it kept people engaged with the brand year-round and not just during tax season.
